■ Product features ■

●The UWL-S100 ZM80 is specifically designed to get 100.0° view angle underwater when combined camera’s zoom position is set to 80mm (35mm film equivalent) for a user of a wide digital camera which is wider than 28mm (35mm film equivalent) or super zoom camera with long lens extension to enjoy wide underwater imaging with handy and compact system. (*4)

●Dual use on land/underwater to work as an ultra wide converter underwater or fisheye converter on land(100.0° underwater/179.8°on land). Dedicated super dome option "Dome Lens Unit II for UWL-S100 ZM80" further increases its view angle underwater up to 149.8°.

●Threaded lens barrel (M52 P1.5) allows adjusting distance between this lens and camera master lens to accommodate with different master lenses among many compact digital cameras (*4).

●Unique optical design allows to shorten minimum focal distance (minimum focus distance 0cm) with ultra wide view angle thus effective for Wide Macro shot.

●The lens construction is 4 elements in 4 groups by optical glasses. Subject side lens surface is water-shedding magenta coating and inner lenses have multi coating to suppress reflection by lenses themselves to suppress chromatic aberration.

(*4) Compatible "Lens Adapter Base" and appropriate "Mount Converter" is necessary to attach this lens on a camera system.

■ Before purchasing UWL-S100 ZM80 ■

This product is a special wide conversion lens specifically designed for a wide camera which is wider than 28mm (35mm film equivalent) and a super zoom camera with long lens extension. Please read through below to understand the characteristic of this product before purchasing.

●Check camera/housing compatibility (*1) to see if this lens is usable for your camera system.

●When shooting, zoom towards to telephoto side at approximately focal length 80mm (35mm film equivalent) until no vignetting is observed. Shooting at wide end setting will give you a circular fisheye image. Too much zooming will have narrower view angle and less advantage of a wide lens.

●Since combined camera is set to focal length approx.80mm (35mm film equivalent) for optimum optical performance, use small aperture setting.

●It is recommended to deactivate image stabilizer of the camera as using this function could have vignetting with focal length setting at approx. 80mm (35mm film equivalent).

●This product is not compatible with any of INON "Lens Holder" due to product feature to adjust mount position back and forth by screwing it.

●It is recommended not to use the built-in flash when not using an external strobe since the built-in flash light could be blocked depending on housing, shooting distance or angle of view etc.
